How do I know if my reservation at Magic Hotel is confirmed?

A booking is confirmed with us only if you have paid a 30% deposit and have received a confirmation number from us or from one of our online booking engines.

I have stayed at the Magic before and would like to book exactly the same room, is this possible?

Of course we will try our best to ensure you stay in your favourite room but cannot always guarantee it will be exactly the same room number.

What is the minimum and maximum number of nights I can book to stay at the hotel?

Depending on availability you can book from 1 night – 28 nights and there is no rule with regards which day of the week you arrive or depart.

I have a confirmed reservation but would like to upgrade the room?

This is subject to availability and extra charges will apply.

Does the hotel offer full board?

No, our rates are based on bed and breakfast and half-board is subject to availability.

Payments and Refund Policy

Are rates quoted per person?

We quote our rates per room unless requested otherwise.

When is the remaining balance due?

Unless stated otherwise, in most cases at check-in.

In which currency can I pay?

We only accept Euros.

Is it cheaper to book online or direct with the hotel?

This can vary according to availability and the time of year. Please also bear in mind that special offers may be available at certain times which can affect the pricing system.

Does the hotel charge commission for credit card payments?

No, we do not, however your bank or card provider may do so, please check with them if you have any enquiries regarding this matter. When we take a payment from you we only deduct the amount stated.

If our flight is cancelled/delayed/or we miss it and we arrive at the hotel a day later, will we still be charged for the first night?

Yes, you will be charged as we hold the room for you.

Reaching the hotel and transportation

Can the hotel book my flights for me?

No, we cannot, we can only provide you with details of companies who sell flights.

Does the hotel offer a transfer service?

Unfortunately, this service is not available at this current time, we hope to offer transfers sometime in the near future.

How do I reach the hotel from the airport?

Taxis are easily available outside the airport upon arrival, approximate journey time is 15 minutes and costs 15 euros. From the port, journey time is 10 minutes and costs 8.50 euros.

Is there any public transport available?

Buses – bus terminal is located at the port running every 15 minutes and costs 1.10 euros to reach the hotel (bus stop no. 16).

Facilities & Accessibility

Is there an iron and ironing board available for guests?

Yes, just ask at Front Desk who will arrange to bring it to your room.

Are there tea/coffee making facilities in the room?

Unfortunately not yet, we hope to make this service available sometime in the near future.

I have walking difficulties, would the hotel be suitable for me?

Please be warned there are many steps at our hotel enabling access to better sea views from higher floors. We have a limited amount of rooms on lower floors without too many steps which we give priority to guests who inform us at time of booking of their walking difficulties. We will not accept cancellations once a booking has been confirmed due to guest changing their mind on the basis of too many steps to climb.
